Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope this message finds you safe and well after the challenges we have faced with Cyclone Alfred. The disruption to our school routines and assessment schedules has certainly been felt, but I want to commend our students, staff, and families for their resilience and support during this time. As we work to get back on track, I encourage everyone to continue helping one another, demonstrating the strength of our Ripley Valley community. By working together, we can ensure our students stay focused and supported in their learning.
On a more exciting note, I am thrilled to share that our college’s first international trip to Japan will take place over the upcoming Easter holidays. This incredible opportunity will allow our students to experience Japanese culture, history, and education firsthand. We hope this will be the start of a new tradition, with international trips occurring every two years. These experiences broaden students’ perspectives and create lifelong memories, and we look forward to seeing this program grow in the future.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and let’s continue to work together to make Ripley Valley a place where students thrive.
Yours Sincerely,
Brendan Krueger
Foundation Principal

A quick snapshot of our Assessment Policies is included below.
Parent Teacher Interviews
Tuesday 6th May is a non-curriculum day with no timetabled classes in operation.
If you are unable to make suitable arrangements for your student, supervision will be provided by Teacher Aides for students to engage in independent study in the Library for the day.
It’s hard to believe how quickly the weeks have flown by! As we approach the Easter break, I wanted to encourage all students to finish the Term strongly by continuing to work diligently on any upcoming assessment tasks and demonstrate the knowledge and skills they have gained this term. We encourage all students to embrace our school’s core values, by showing Respect for their learning, taking Responsibility for their efforts, and demonstrating Perseverance in the face of challenges. I am proud of their collective commitment thus far, and look forward to celebrating their achievements as we conclude the Term.
As we near the break, there are a range of important events in the school calendar. These include:
College ANZAC Service
On Thursday the 24th April (Week 1, Term2) the College will hold our annual ANZAC Service in the RaptorDome from 8:30am. This is an important event our school calendar, and an opportunity for our community to gather to pay our respects and commemorate those who have given so much for our Nation. As always, we are pleased to be able to share this service with a range of special invited guests, including: Political representatives, Council members, personnel from the Australian Defence Force, as well as our parents, carers and friends of the College.
As in the past, there will also be a dawn service at ANZAC Place at the front of the College at 5am on Friday the 25th April. All community members are welcome to attend this special event.
Queensland Engagement and Wellbeing (QEW) Survey
In keeping with our continued focus on student wellbeing, early next Term all students will be invited to complete the Queensland Engagement and Wellbeing (QEW) Survey. The purpose of this survey is to measure how students view their wellbeing and engagement so that we can better meet their needs and support them in the best way possible.
The survey measures many aspects of students’ wellbeing, engagement, and experience at school. These includes: resilience, school climate, relationships, sense of belonging, motivation and perseverance, academic self-concept, personal social capabilities, future outlook and aspirations, general life satisfaction and general health.
The information collected through the survey will be kept confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside of the Queensland Department of Education. Student’s answers will be de-identified and will be reported back to the school as part of a collated cohort response.
Participation in the survey is voluntary. Choosing not to participate will not affect your child’s education in any way. If you do not wish for your child to participate in the QEW Survey, please contact the school.
More information, including FAQs, can be found on the Education website: https://alt-qed.qed.qld.gov.au/publications/reports/statistics/schooling/students/queensland-engagement-wellbeing-survey
The QLD Engagement and Wellbeing Survey FAQs page for parents and carers can also be accessed here: https://alt-qed.qed.qld.gov.au/publications/reports/statistics/schooling/students/queensland-engagement-wellbeing-survey/faqs-for-parents-and-carers

Access Arrangements and Reasonable Adjustments
During the senior phase of learning (years 10 - 12) Ripley Valley SSC and QCAA recognise that some students may have a disability, impairment and/or medical conditions or experience other circumstances that may affect their ability to read, respond to and participate in assessment. Access arrangements and reasonable adjustments (AARA) are designed to assist these students.
These barriers fall into broad categories:
- Long-term and chronic conditions
- Mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression
- Short-term conditions and temporary injuries

The graphic below provides information on what conditions or circumstances are considered for an AARA.
If you believe that your child/ren require an AARA within the senior phase of learning (year 10-12) and have not yet communicated with our AARA team, please email the AARA team (AARA@ripleyvalleyssc.eq.edu.au) who will provide relevant information and documentation to support the process.
QCE review date claimer
At the end of the first unit of year 11 students will be required to participate in a QCE review and parents are encouraged to attend. During this process students and parents will meet with a member of the College’s Leadership team to discuss their progress and their intended pathway. These review meetings will occur in week 9 of term 2 with more information provided during term 2.
Kind regards,

Deputy Principal - Year 11 & Year 12 - Pathways & Partnerships
As we approach the holidays, a number of year levels across both the junior and senior school have already started working on Unit 2 work. We encourage students ensure they attend as many lessons as possible as the holidays approach.
Year 12 General English students have started their new unit where we they are exploring the classic novel Frankenstein and all of the questions it raises around ambition and morality. “Our students had a hands-on introduction to Frankenstein by crafting their own playdough monsters! As they shaped their creatures, they considered the emotions and responsibilities that come with creation—just like Victor Frankenstein. Afterwards, they reflected on the experience, discussing how it felt to bring something to life, what it means to be a "creator”, and what they owed to their creation. A fun and thought-provoking start to our study of Frankenstein!”8F English have participated in an interactive “Speed Dating” peer feedback session activity to share and refine their assessment draft. They rotated between peers, providing constructive feedback based on clear criteria. Each round lasted a few minutes, allowing students to give targeted feedback on specific aspects of the ‘Branch Narrative’ assessment task. This format encouraged active engagement, quick thinking, and varied perspectives, helping students improve their work through multiple viewpoints. By the end of the session, students had gathered valuable insights to enhance their final product.
There are number of extra-curricular opportunities on the horizon for Ripley students including writing competitions and the Reader’s Cup.
Students are encouraged to put their English skills to the test in the first of the writing competitions. The Literary Competition invites Queensland and Northern Territory students and teachers to share their literary prowess by submitting either poetry, short stories or non-fiction prose.
It is Queensland’s longest running literary competition.
The competition is open to entrants from students (years 5-12) and teachers in Queensland state and independent schools and Northern Territory independent schools.
Competition categories:
- Years 5-6
- Years 7-8
- Years 9-10
- Years 11-12
- Open (Teachers and School Support Staff)
The competition closes on Friday 13 June 2025 with the presentation of awards being held on Wednesday6 August 2025 at 6.30pm at the Queensland Multicultural Centre, 102 Main Street, Kangaroo Point. You can view the centre at www.qmc.org.au)
Entries must be submitted online by 5pm on Friday 13 June 2025 at www.ieuqnt.org.au/competitions.

DANCE
Dance Academy
Year 7 Dance Academy students have been hard at work! After successfully completing their theory component in Week 5, they have now stepped into the exciting world of Musical Theatre-inspired Jazz. With energy and enthusiasm, they have begun learning a dynamic routine for their upcoming performance task.
But that’s not all—this routine will go on to represent them in next term’s Dance Eisteddfod! With every rehearsal, students are refining their technique, expression, and stage presence, preparing to showcase their talents on a bigger stage.
Our Year 8 Dance Academy students have just completed their jazz performance assessment, showcasing their energy, technique, and performance skills. Each student demonstrated fantastic commitment, and it was wonderful to see their confidence grow on stage! With their jazz performance behind them, students are now moving into an exciting choreography task. Working in small groups, they will develop their own original routines, applying creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. This project allows them to explore movement, experiment with formations, and refine their choreographic intent. We can’t wait to see their innovative routines come to life in the coming weeks!
Our Year 9 Dance Academy students have just performed their lyrical routine for their first assessment task. Lyrical dance is a combination of ballet and contemporary technique and often communicates a narrative, theme or emotion. This routine will then become the year 9's first eisteddfod entry as we see them take to the stage at Ipswich Combined Teachers Dance Festival early next term. The class is now moving onto their own choreography task. They are exploring personal identity and creating a solo task that will be performed next term.
Want to join our Dance Academy? Our first trial for the year is coming up! This is opening to existing RVSSC members as well as 2026 enrolments. EOI's close this Friday. Sign up via the below link: https://ripleyvalleyssc.schoolzineplus.com/form/887 or contact ddoor4@eq.edu.au for more information.
7 Dance
Our Year 7 dance students have successfully completed their exam assessments, showcasing impressive skill and dedication. With their exams behind them, they’ve now moved on to their first practical dance task. The students are learning a dance piece choreographed by their teachers, focusing on technique, rhythm, and performance quality.
This marks an exciting new chapter for our Year 7 dancers as they continue to develop their abilities and creativity. We can’t wait to see their progress in the coming weeks!
11 Dance
Year 11 Dance students are gearing up to showcase their Jazz performances next week! Taking on an exciting new dance style, they’ve tackled intricate choreography at a rapid pace—pushing their skills and creativity to new heights. Despite the challenge, their hard work has paid off, with every step mastered and every movement refined. Now, with confidence and enthusiasm, they are in their final rehearsals, ready to perform their assessment.
12 Dance
Year 12 Dance students are delving into how choreographers use movement to express viewpoints on social, political, and cultural issues. Through this exploration, they will develop and refine their choreographic skills to create and perform their own dance pieces that communicate meaning to an audience. By studying both Australian and international dance works, students will gain insight into how a choreographer’s life experiences shape their creative choices and influence the themes in their work. They will examine historical and contemporary issues from Australia and around the world, deepening their understanding of how global perspectives and societal concerns are reflected in dance.
This unit challenges students to think critically, creatively, and expressively as they use dance to convey powerful messages and engage with important conversations. We look forward to seeing their ideas come to life on stage!
DRAMA
8 Drama
This week, our Year 8 drama students will take to the stage, presenting scenes from the renowned Aboriginal Theatre play, Honey Spot. Through this powerful work, students explore themes of culture, friendship and understanding, gaining valuable insights into Australian stories and history.
Drama at this age is important, offering young people a creative outlet to express themselves, build confidence and develop communication skills. It encourages empathy and teamwork, helping students navigate their world with a greater understanding of others.
We’re excited to see their hard work come to life—break a leg, Year 8!
9 Drama
Year 9 Drama students who have been working towards completing Part A of their Melodrama unit. Exploring the conventions of this theatre style, students are devising and creating an improvised performance which engages an audience of their peers. Improvisation is such a highly creative and collaborative form, it has been amazing to see the ensemble and communication skills developing in the class so far. Moving forward, Part B of their assessment requires students to analyse a Melodramatic work and successfully analyse the use of elements of drama and stylistic conventions in communicating dramatic meaning. Critical thinking, analysis and evaluation are skills that are required in so many different pathways and our Drama students are honing these skills with the added dimension of examining pieces through a creative lens.
10 Drama
This week, our Year 10 drama students will present scenes from the play Blurred, a work that explores themes of identity, independence, and the transition to adulthood—topics that resonate deeply with their age group.
Drama is incredibly valuable for year 10 students, providing a safe space to express themselves, build confidence, and explore complex emotions. It fosters creativity, empathy, and collaboration, helping students develop important life skills.
We’re excited to see their hard work come to life.
MUSIC
7 Music
Year 7 music students are exploring Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) by Green Day, analysing its structure through the elements of music. They are examining melody, harmony, rhythm, dynamics, and timbre to understand how these elements shape the song’s emotional impact. As they refine their playing and singing skills, students are preparing to perform the piece, focusing on expression and musicality. This hands-on approach helps them connect theory with practice, building confidence for their upcoming performance.
11 Music
Senior music students are refining their performance skills as they prepare for upcoming assessments. ATAR Music students are focusing on their FIA1 performance, developing their ability to communicate emotion and intent through the elements of music. They are working on expression, phrasing, and stage presence to engage their audience effectively. Meanwhile, Music in Practice students are building fundamental performance techniques, learning how to connect with others through music. By exploring different styles and collaborative approaches, they are developing confidence and musicianship. Both groups are gaining valuable skills to enhance their performances and overall musical communication.
Instrumental Music
Our instrumental music students are gearing up for an exciting excursion to Sandgate SHS, where they will take part in two specialised workshops. One workshop will see them playing alongside Sandgate’s bands, gaining valuable ensemble experience, while the other will provide private instrumental lessons from experienced tutors and instrumental teachers. This excursion marks the beginning of an exciting partnership between the two schools, with plans for Sandgate students to visit Ripley in 2026 and join our program for the day. This collaboration offers students a fantastic opportunity to refine their skills, learn from industry professionals, and build connections with fellow musicians.
Certificate III Community Dance, Theatre and Events
Each year, our Certificate III Community Dance, Theatre and Events class organises, manages, and performs in a community event. For 2025, we are excited to announce our partnership with Animal Welfare League Australia. This year’s event, taking place in Term 3, will raise funds for the incredible work of the AWL. Rehearsals have already begun, and our students are working hard to deliver a memorable performance to support this important cause. Stay tuned for more information—this is one event you won’t want to miss!
Drama Troupe
Our talented Drama Troupe is in full rehearsal mode for the second annual Drama Night on Saturday, 10th May 2025 (Term 2, Week 3). This year’s event is extra special as it will be the first time on the Performing Arts Centre stage, promising an elevated experience for both performers and the audience.
Students are working hard to bring captivating stories to life, showcasing their passion and talent. Mark your calendars and join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating the arts!
Vocal Ensemble
Our talented vocal ensemble delivered an outstanding debut performance at the college’s investiture ceremony, captivating the audience with their harmonies and passion. Building on this success, they are now preparing for their next big opportunity—the Greater Springfield Community Festival on Saturday, 17th May 2025 (Term 2, Week 4).
The festival promises a fantastic showcase of local talent, and our ensemble is excited to perform for the wider community. Mark your calendars and come along to support our talented singers as they take to the stage!
Legally Blonde The Musical - Meet the Cast!
Auditions for Legally Blonde: The Musical were nothing short of amazing! Over the audition week, we watched an incredible display of talent, energy, and enthusiasm from our aspiring performers. From powerhouse vocals to dynamic acting and impressive dance moves, every student who auditioned brought something special to the stage.
The casting process was no easy task, as we had so many talented individuals to choose from. We were blown away by the passion and dedication everyone showed, making us even more excited to begin rehearsals. The journey ahead promises to be filled with hard work, creativity, and, of course, a lot of fun.

Cross Country
This year our annual Cross Country will be held on Thursday 3rd April in Week 10. This is considered a normal school day. At the college we boast a high participation rate in our House Days and we hope to continue this as we grow. The theme for this year’s cross country is Famous Faces.
Students are to come to cross country as a Famous Face that aligns with their house colour.

The Student Representative Council will run a BBQ on the day along with the Canteen running out of the Raptor Dome kitchen providing an alternate menu.

Running Club
Mr Dawson is currently preparing runners for the upcoming cross-country. This is the perfect preparation for serious runners or those just wanting to challenge themselves to finish the course.
Strength and Conditioning and Group Fitness
Before access the gym, students will need to complete a full gym induction.
The Certificate III in Business students recently put their skills to the test by organizing a Valentine’s Day rose sale to raise funds for the upcoming formal. With a combination of pre-orders and on-the-day sales, students had the opportunity to purchase beautiful roses to celebrate the occasion.
The project allowed the business students to gain hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and financial management, all while contributing to a meaningful cause. While they didn’t sell out completely, the fundraiser was still a success, helping them move closer to their formal fundraising goal.
Thank you to everyone who supported the initiative!

Assessment Supports in Senior Schooling
QCAA (Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority) determines procedures and provides quality assurance for Queensland's system of assessment in the senior phase of learning. As students transition into senior schooling, those who require exam supports are able to apply for AARA (Access arrangements and reasonable adjustments). AARA are provided to minimise barriers for a student whose disability, impairment, medical condition or other circumstances affect their ability to read, respond to or participate in assessment. QCAA have fixed guidelines about who is eligible for these adjustments, and require medical documentation to support any application for exam support.
At Ripley Valley State Secondary College, we start the process of preparing students for the Senior phase of learning in year 10.
- for the first semester of year 10, students who received assessment support in junior schooling will be provided with a Senior Support Plan that details the adjustments they require.
- during Semester 1 of year 10, we communicate with families about what medical documents are provided and begin the application processes.
- in the second semester of year 10, only students with approved AARAs will be offered assessment adjustments
- These supports mirror the QCAA approved adjustments for the senior phase of learning
- If you have any questions or would like to know more about this process, please contact HOD of Diverse Learners (Grade 10-12) Mrs Lola Libbis at lcava53@eq.edu.au

UCAT ANZ 2025 Registration opened on the 4th of March 2025
The information below was sourced from https://www.nie.edu.au/
Students considering a career in medicine or dentistry, during Year 12 will need to sit a compulsory entry exam known as the UCAT (University Clinical Aptitude Test) before they can apply for relevant placements in the aforementioned fields of study within most universities within Australia.
The UCAT ANZ is a compulsory entry requirement for our Australia and New Zealand Consortium universities. You are required to sit the UCAT ANZ 2025 test (between 1 July and 5 August 2025) if you are intending to apply for entry in 2026 to a relevant course or programme listed below. UCAT ANZ results cannot be carried over from one year to the next. For example, results from UCAT ANZ 2025 can only be used to apply for courses commencing in 2026.
Some pathways to medicine/dentistry/clinical sciences will not require the UCAT ANZ, or might have additional requirements. For example, Casper Test is an extra requirement in addition to UCAT for Curtin University (medicine). Or Psychometric Test is used instead of the UCAT for entry into Bond University (medicine). For some applicants, a different test may be required. For example, international students might need to sit ISAT instead of UCAT. And some universities might accept UCAT instead of ISAT when applying to medical schools as an international student. Students should always check the entry requirements for each university and course they are intending to apply for. There are no general exemptions from the test.
Universities that offer Undergraduate Medicine without the requirement for UCAT are:
James Cook University (Medicine & Dentistry) - the selection is based on ATAR, Letters of support for dentistry only, written application for dentistry only, and Interview for medicine only.
Bond University (Medicine) - the selection is based on ATAR, Bond Psychometric Test, Interview.
University of Sydney (Medicine double degree) - an ATAR of 99.95 or equivalent is required. An assessment process including a written assessment followed by a panel discussion.
La Trobe University (Rural medicine pathway and dentistry) - The selection is based on ATAR and interviews for medicine only.
The first time a candidate is eligible to sit the UCAT is during their final year of school, that is, Year 12 (in Australia). Candidates can repeat the UCAT yearly. The UCAT is held once a year.
UCAT ANZ 2025 Key Dates
Candidates taking the UCAT ANZ in 2025 for entry to universities in Australia and New Zealand in 2026 should note these key dates. Deadline times are 11.59pm AEST - Australian Eastern Standard Time.
UCAT registration is available only via the UCAT ANZ website - ucat.edu.au

Who is eligible to sit the UCAT?
The UCAT ANZ test is only available to a candidate whose educational level at the time of sitting the test is that they are undertaking or have completed the final year of secondary schooling, or higher. For example, candidates registering for UCAT ANZ 2025 should have completed, or plan to complete their final year of secondary schooling in 2025, that is, Year 12 in Australia or Year 13 in New Zealand.
Candidates are eligible to sit UCAT ANZ if they have commenced or completed an undergraduate degree.
It is noted, however, that not all undergraduate degree programs for which UCAT ANZ is a prerequisite will offer places for non-school leavers. Candidates are advised to check the UCAT ANZ Consortium university websites for further information.
Only a limited number of UCAT ANZ Consortium universities require international students to sit UCAT ANZ and, if so, it will only be required in specific circumstances. Candidates are advised to check the UCAT ANZ Consortium university websites for further information.

We are coming to the end of a massive term. With the recent weather event if you need additional support, please reach out to us. As Chaplains, we are grateful to partner with students and parents to care for everyone at Ripley Valley State Secondary College. We provide emotional, spiritual and social support to the students and the wider school community. One of the ways that we provide support is with one-on-one pastoral care conversations. If you would like us to provide support for your child, please email me at chaplaincy@ripleyvalleyssc.eq.edu.au
If you also want to know more about chaplaincy, please use the latest snapshot to find out more about who we are and what we do:

Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club, one of the school's extra-curricular programs, is back up and running after Ex-Cyclone Alfred. Breakfast Club runs every day from 8:15-8:45 am. This is an excellent way for the students to engage with one another over food or milo and doesn't cost them anything. If you want to volunteer for this, please email us; we will appreciate your help.
Chaplaincy Committee
The Local Chaplaincy Committee is the supporting and guiding body behind the Chaplaincy Service, helping to shape it to meet the well-being of the school community here at the College. If this sounds like something you would like to attend, our next meeting is on Thursday the 15th of May. Please get in touch if you'd like additional information.
Programs
Our programs this term is finished. Thank you to everyone who participated this term in the programs. If you want more information about the programs we are running in term 2 please reach out to us so that we can better support your child.

Chappy Pantry
Chappy Pantry is being used daily, and we thank those who donated. Chappy Pantry was designed to provide essential food assistance to students who may come to school without lunch, have insufficient lunch, or experience hunger during the school day.
The Chappy Pantry has already made an incredible impact, and we are excited to continue to grow this initiative. If you want to help and donate food for this, please get in touch with us. We will love your support.
SU Schoolies
Scripture Union Australia also runs drug & alcohol-free schoolies events for all those in year 12 wanting to celebrate finishing their schooling. A few options exist, such as Sunshine Coast, Hawaii & Vanuatu. If this interests you or your child, please follow the link below for more information.
Ripley Youth
Ripley Youth is back and happening every Friday during the second break-in J204! We'll be joined each week by the Youth Pastors and leaders from Cityhope Church.
Ripley Youth is all about creating a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone. This term, we'll dive into the "Life Essentials" series, exploring themes like identity, belonging, purpose, and faith. We'll also have service opportunities throughout the year within the school and the wider community. Feel free to come and join in!
As we enter into assessment and exam times, we, as chaplains, wish all the best to the students with their schoolwork. If you need any support, don't be afraid to reach out.
Easter Hampers
We are once again coming together to support our school community with a food hamper drive. Following the incredible success of our Christmas hamper drive, made possible by the generosity of our staff and wider community, we were able to donate 15 hampers to families and provide a large donation of items to Ipswich Assist.
With Easter approaching and the challenges caused by the recent cyclone, we are preparing to distribute more hampers to support those in need. If you know of anyone within our school community, or your family could benefit from a hamper, please reach out. We want to ensure that everyone who needs assistance receives support during what may be a difficult time.

ANZAC Day Commemoration
ANZAC Day 2025 commemorates 110 years since the Gallipoli landings, where the ANZAC troops joined the allied forces in a campaign to capture Constantinople, with an aim to open a supply route to Russia, via the Dardanelles and the Black Sea.
On the 25th April 1915, 16,000 ANZACs landed at Gallipoli. More troops would arrive in the months following. During the course of the 9-month campaign, there would be 26,000 Australian casualties, including 8,141 deaths.
It is worth bearing in mind that approximately 10% of Australia’s population at that time were enlisted into the Australian Imperial Army.
The campaign resulted in a stalemate and the eventual withdrawal of allied troops, including the ANZAC's who were no match for an enemy defending its homeland.
Although the Gallipoli campaign was not successful in achieving its objectives, what cannot be denied was the reputation the ANZAC’s earned. Despite the fact that the ANZAC’s were their enemy, the Ottoman Turks recognised the bravery and resilience of men they believed were forced to fight in a war they did not understand or choose.
To mark this year’s 110th commemoration, and to honour our ANZACs, RVSSC students, staff and the Defence School Mentor, as well as members of the wider community have been working hard to create a poppy waterfall for the library ANZAC Day display. With over 300 crocheted poppies so far, the waterfall is now in the construction phase. The waterfall will complement the ANZAC Display which can be viewed by students during ANZAC week at the library. The waterfall will be added to for future commemorations as a mindful activity for our students.
Coffee & Chat
This week saw the first RVSSC Defence parent group for the year. Once a term, Defence parents of Ripley Valley SSC gather to network, share experiences and be informed of supports that are available to them through the Defence Member and Family Support Branch.
The importance of connection cannot be underestimated, especially when you are raising a family in the military lifestyle.
Being a member of the ADF presents unique challenges for their families. Frequent or extended absences of the Defence member due to exercises and deployments, coupled with frequent moves to new towns, states or even abroad for postings, means families often find themselves isolated, disconnected and apart from extend family, friends and supports. Added challenges are finding homes, schools, doctors, specialists, and for many Defence spouses, new jobs.
The Coffee & Chat offers RVSSC Defence parents, especially those newly posted in, an opportunity to connect with other Defence families of the college, with whom they can share their lived experiences with. Parents can also engage with college support staff, Defence Member and Family Support staff, and be connected to their new community.
The aim of the Defence parent group is to connect our Defence families to our college community so that they, and their children, can feel supported and engaged with our school community for the time that they are with us.
Reporting Defence Related Absences
If you are a Defence member who will be posting away or deploying for a significant time, or if you are transitioning out of the ADF, could you please let me know. This helps me and the college staff provide appropriate support for your child.
