We were very excited to welcome the community into our Science laboratory last weekend for Open Day. Ms Jarred and I, loved having conversations with lots of incoming and current students about all the programs we cover in Science. We had some Biology set up with microscopes of cells magnified up to 400x and models of organisms. Chemistry molecular models and magnetic spinners were great fun but Physics and Psychology were the favourites for the day with magnets, light boxes and a Stroop test to trick the brain. 

There is a lot of assessment due in the next two weeks. Students are being reminded in class that if they are absent on the day of an examination, they need to submit an extension request as per our assessment policy for Heads of Year to approve. We wish all our student's luck as they get ready to sit these exams and demonstrate their learning this term.
