Student Wellbeing - Chaplain and YSC
We are nearing the end of the term and what a term it has been, it has been great getting seeing the new students settling in and getting involved with all that Ripley has to offer.
Pastoral Care
As a school chaplain, Kristian's role is to provide emotional, spiritual and social support to the students and wider school community. One of the ways he provided's support is with one-on-one pastoral care conversations. If you would like him to provide support for your child, please email him at katki121@eq.edu.au.
Breakfast Club
There has been a slight change to our Breakfast Club program, Breakfast Club now will operate on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:15-8:45 am. The last day we will operate for the term will be Tuesday the 26th of March, we will kick off again in Week 2 of Term 2.
Chaplaincy Committee
The Local Chaplaincy Committee is the supporting and guiding body behind the Chaplaincy Service helping to shape it to meet the wellbeing of the school community here at the College. If this sounds like something you would like to attend, our next meeting on Thursday the 16th of May at 4pm here at the college. Please get in touch if you'd like additional information.
Resourceful Adolescent Program (RAP)
The RAP Program is well under way and the students so far have learnt about their personal strengths, different calming and relaxation techniques and how to problem solve amongst other things. SSS will be offering programs during Term 2 so please keep an eye out for it if you want your child to get involved.
P&C Easter Movie Night
The P&C are having an Easter Movie Night here at the college on Saturday the 23rd of March. The Chaplaincy Service will be selling glow products to raise funds for the service it provides here at Ripley. If you want your child to help out during the evening, please don’t hesitate to make contact.
