Year 9 have explored colour theory when working with acrylic paints this term. They have explored colour values and how to create monochromatic tones using only tints and shades. Students have put their measurement skills to the test to create the very precise image for their assessment task. Each student has followed a guide applying their understanding of colour value to create their own vibrant vector images.
Each student will complete their 28cm square image before collaborating with every student from both Year 9 Visual Art to create one large scale artwork that includes each individual student work.
