Principal's Report

Dear Parents/Carers, 

Welcome to a new school year and what I hope has been a positive and productive start to the new year for you and your family.  A number of significant milestones will occur in our college throughout 2024 including; our first cohort of Year 12's to graduate, the completion of our purpose-built Performing Arts Centre by mid-year, the review and creation of our College Strategic Plan for 2025 - 2029 and our 5th year anniversary celebrations! To help commemorate these milestones a number of events will be held throughout the year to celebrate these great achievements and occasions.  

 
Ripley Valley State Secondary College opened in January 2020 and since then, we have embarked on a journey to provide quality education for all students and to fulfil our college motto of Achieving Excellence Together.    
2024 marks both our 5th year anniversary and the graduation of our first year 12 cohort. To celebrate this memorable occasion, the Student Representative Council is pleased to present an opportunity for students, families, staff, and local community sponsors to be a part of history through our Paver Fundraiser.

One way that families, students and businesses may wish to participate in these celebrations is to purchase a "5th Year Anniversary" paver.  These professional paver's will be laid in both Foundation Park and the foyer of the new Performing Arts Centre and can be ordered via the following link:  https://ripleyvalleyssc.eq.edu.au/calendar-and-news/news/celebrating-our-5-th-year-anniversary

Orders for these pavers will close in early April and if businesses would like to purchase larger paver's that include your company logo this can be done by contacting the administration office for further details.  

As we commence the year I would encourage all new and existing families to build upon the great work already started at Ripley Valley State Secondary College as we continue to fulfil our college motto of Achieving Excellence Together.
