Congratulations to all Year 10 students who completed Work Experience at the end of Term 3 and to the 13 students who received offers of casual employment & school-based traineeships/apprenticeships from this experience. We have received extremely positive feedback from your host employers and it was great to see student feedback as well about how valuable the experience was to preparing for their future pathways. Thank you to all organisations who hosted our students and who will be hosting more Year 10's throughout this semester. All Year 10 students & their parents/carers are invited to participate in the Senior Education & Training Plan Interviews on Wednesday 2nd August. These are a compulsory component of the high school experience in selecting student pathways and the subjects & programs available to get them there across Years 11 & 12. Bookings for these meetings can be completed through the Parent Portal on Daymap. If you are having an issues booking through the platform, please contact Mr James Gerchow (jgerc6@eq.edu.au).

There are currently a couple of positions & university open days listed on the Careers Board on Daymap. We will continue to add casual jobs, traineeships & apprenticeships, and available pathways options to this job board. This can be accessed via both the student & the parent portals on Daymap at any time. If students are interested in any particular pathways, they can discuss this with Mrs George in the library.
