As we come to the end of a busy Term 2, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff and students who have sacrified their time to represent Ripley Valley SSC in various sport. 

Athletics

We are coming into my personal favourite event of the year, the College’s Athletics Carnival. The carnival is being held in Week 9, Thursday 15th June and Friday 16th June. 

This year students aren’t just participating for Age Champion, Sports Awards and House points but also to have their name forever written in our history books.

The two days will be run as follows:

On Thursday 15th June the following events will run: 400m, 800m, 1500m, Javelin & Discus. Students must have nominate for these events in order to participate!

On Friday 16th June the following events will run: 100m and 200m relays, novelty games, shot put, long jump and new for 2023, high jump.  We are looking forward to using our new mats. Nomination is not required for the events held on Friday.

Parents are welcome to come and watch but please sign in at the office.
