Mathematics
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the RVSSC community. I am Haranoop Singh Goraya and have been appointed as Acting Head of Department for Mathematics and Year 9. I am committed to make a positive contribution to the college’s ongoing success and provide opportunities for all students to excel in the field of mathematics.
Year 11 students have now completed Unit 1 and have started Unit 2 content already. Reporting for Unit 1 will be completed soon and report cards will be sent out as soon as reporting is finalised. Year 11 students’ parents can book QCE review meetings to be held on Wednesday 14th June, via Daymap, to discuss student pathways moving forward.
Years 7 – 10 will also be completing maths assessments this week and next week. It is important that students bring the required equipment for these exams to give themselves every opportunity to do their best.
