Chaplain News
This term is quickly coming to an end but there are a few things still coming up such as exam block, Year 10 work experience and the Athletics Carnival.
Pastoral Care
As a school chaplain, my role is to provide emotional, spiritual and social support to the students and wider school community. One of the ways I provide support is with one-on-one pastoral care conversations. If you would like me to provide support for your child, please email me at katki121@eq.edu.au.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club usually operates Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:15am until access. Over the next couple of weeks I will be away so it will only operate on Wednesdays.
Chappy Week Competitions
During Week 6 it was Chappy week. A couple of competitions that were held during this week were the dad joke & guess the jar competition. I am still going through the entries and hopefully the winners will be announced shortly.
Chaplaincy Committee
The Local Chaplaincy Committee is the supporting and guiding body behind the Chaplaincy Service helping to shape it to meet the wellbeing of the school community at both here at RVSSC. If you would like to attend and be a part of the committee, we have our next meeting on Thursday 17th August at 4pm here at the college. If you want any more information, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
