Creative Industries and Food Studies
In Year 9 Media, students have been exploring the art of macro photography, drawing inspiration from renowned photographer Slinkachu and his captivating work with mini figurines. Armed with their cameras and creative vision, they ventured into a miniature world, capturing their characters to tell captivating stories through their macro shots. Through this project, students not only honed their technical skills but also learned to think outside the box and appreciate the beauty that can be found in the smallest of things.
Year 10 Visual Art
The Year 10 Visual Art students have completed their self portraits at the end of Term 1. They have shown true commitment, perseverance and dedication to their paintings and the results speak for themselves. Great work Year 10 Art!
Next, students have embarked on an exciting project where they are fusing creativity with sustainability by crafting wearable art items. Drawing inspiration from a notable piece of art from the past, they explored innovative ways to repurpose materials and reduce waste. Through their designs, they not only celebrated the artistic legacy but also contributed to a more environmentally conscious future. We cant wait to show you the end result in a few weeks!
