Our HPE staff have been busy working away on their weekly challenges.  The Weekly Challenge goes up every Friday on Facebook and STILE.  Students who actively complete the challenge earn points for their house!

1st Place = 4 points

2nd Place = 3 points

3rd Place = 2 points 

Participation = 1 point

So far the current points tally for the HPE Challenge stands at:

Blaine = 8 points

Flinders = 18 points

Goolman = 7 points

Perry = 7 points

Just a reminder to all students that our HPE Learning @ Home resource is available to all students on STILE.

Our budding scientists have been busy at home completing JacPlus and STILE.  The Year 7 students are in the midst of creating their poster on the lifecycle of their chosen product and the Year 8 students are busy becoming miners and looking at rocks and minerals around their home.  Students are reminded to keep using JacPlus and STILE to complete their learning at home.  We are excited to have everyone back at school and back in the labs from Week 6.

Mangahigh has proved popular with our students as a great interactive way to participate in online learning.  Students have all been provided with their Mangahigh log in details and can participate in the weekly challenges which are assigned by their Maths Teacher.  This resource works along nicely with their JacPlus textbook and allows for a game based platform to help cement their learning in Maths.
