Welcome back to an exciting year ahead in our VET & Digital Technologies spaces. Not only do we have the first year of our eSports Academy, we also have a range of new vocational subjects available to our Year 11's as they enter into their final phase of high school.

It's great to see the number of students getting involved in our Digitech & eSports curriculum's already for 2023! For the first time ever, we have the Year 7 eSports Academy, Year 10 Digital Technologies, and Year 11 Information & Communication Technology (eSports). We have a range of competitions, clubs & activities being planned for our students in these spaces - stay tuned for updates in the Student Notices and in the newsletters!
VOCATIONAL EDUCATION & TRAINING (VET)
Our VET Trainers have had a great first week back getting to know all their students, and our external partners have been overwhelmed with the number of students enrolling into the various courses on offer.

YEAR 10 WORK EXPERIENCE
In Term 2, all of our Year 10's will be entering the workforce for a week of work experience. Mrs George, our Industry Liaison Officer, has been very busy making connections with local organisations to find placements for our students. If your student has not completed the survey to advise of their preferred industries & pathways, or if your child is new and has not received the link to complete this survey, please email Mrs George so she can organise that for you.
TRAINEESHIPS, APPRENTICESHIPS & PATHWAYS
Many of our students are already participating in external training programs, such as traineeships & apprenticeships, and are gaining those real world skills ready to enter the workforce after school. Students interested in these pathways can see Mrs George in the Careers Centre within the Library before school or during lunch breaks about any opportunities that may be available. Mrs George also shares current vacancies on our school Careers Website
