Junior Schooling
Welcome back to a brand new year at Ripley Valley SSC! I hope all our parents, carers, students and wider community members had a lovely break and spent it with loved ones.
Excellence Academies:
This year we welcome two more Excellence Academies, these being Dance and eSport. The Dance Academy is a combined Year 7 & 8 class that is made up of students who have trialled and were successfully selected into the program and additionally selected Year 8 students who had achieved above satisfactory grade in Dance in Year 7 2022. This program is coordinated by our HoD Performing Arts - Mrs. Jessica Starkey who can be contacted via email - jxsta12@eq.edu.au
eSport Academy is made up of students who were successfully selected from our Excellence Academy Trial Days in 2022, and is coordinated by Mr. Callum Simmons. Mr. Simmons has shown he is highly capable of delivering a quality program to our eSport students as he was successful in leading the extra-curricular eSport program in 2021/22.

Year 9 PPP:
In Term 3, our Year 9 students, parents/carers will be involved in Year 9 Pathways Preparation Plan (PPP) meetings. The PPP meeting focuses on students entering the senior phase of learning at RVSSC, including subject selections and expectations of them as learners of their future senior schooling.
All Year 9 students are expected to be engaged in this interview and these can be booked via the parent portal on Daymap closer to Term 3. Please look out for any information regarding PPP meetings on the school socials, email and Daymap.
All information that was previously presented at last years presentation night can be found directly on our Senior Schooling Website:
