Dear Parents/Carers, 

It was an absolute pleasure last week to attend our 3rd Annual Awards evening and recognise the outstanding academic, sporting and cultural achievements of our students for 2022. It was equally exciting to be able to announce our new Junior College Captains; Ellie Eastell and Gowri Menon, and our senior leaders for 2023. Each year, our college continues to mature and excel far beyond our expectations. The hard work, perseverance and dedication of our staff, students and families all contribute to fulfilling our college motto of "Achieving Excellence Together".  

This Friday I also look forward to celebrating the great work of our performing arts team as we host our annual Showcase event in the Raptordome. The level of skill and professionalism demonstrated by our students in dance, drama, music, and art is worth celebrating and I look forward to this entertaining event once again.  

As the year quickly draws to an end, our final planning and preparation for the start of the 2023 school year is well and truly under way. Next year we anticipate over 800 students in years 7 - 11 and with this additional growth planning is under way for the construction of our next building stage in commencing in 2023. Design plans are currently being finalised for the construction of our performing arts centre and additional classrooms for the stage 3 works. This vital infrastructure project will be a welcome addition to our college when it is completed in 2024. Further details and architectural plans will be shared with the college community when they are finalised in the near future. 

As the countdown to the end of the school year draws near I want to thank our many P & C members and school parents for your continued engagement in our college. I am grateful to the many committed and active parents that form our school community who genuinely wants to work with the college to enhance the educational outcomes for our young people. Once again thank you for your partnership with us and I look forward to seeing you at one of the many school events before the end of the school year.
