Dear Parent/Carer, 

A warm welcome to what has been a very chilly start to Term 3.  It is hard to believe that we are over half way through the year and planning is well and truly underway for 2023 and beyond. 

This term, our current Year 9 students and their parents will be working through their Pathway Preparation Plan (PPP) which build upon a number of conversations we have had with students over the past term as they select subjects and map their future for the senior years of schooling. 

At the same time, our current Year 10 students are reviewing their PPP plans from last year and selecting their Year 11 and 12 subjects that will support their goals for when they graduate in 2024.  These conversations, our Career Expo and parent/student information sessions are a valuable way for students and parents to know the many options and opportunities available to our young people as they progress through their secondary schooling.   I would strongly encourage parents to speak to their child about these initiatives and contact the Head of Department Senior Schooling, Mr Todd Robson, if you require any further information.  

As always, our goal is to help students not only achieve to the best of their ability but find value and purpose in life both in and after school.  Your partnership with us in this process ensures that your child has the best information to make informed decisions regarding their future and I thank you for your ongoing support in this process.

As we move into the busyness of Term 3, it is easy for students to feel overwhelmed and uncertain, especially as they come to select subjects and pick future pathways.  This is normal and I would encourage any students or parents that need further information or support to contact the school as soon as possible.
