Mathematics

Welcome back to the start of Term 2! I hope that you and your family had a restful and enjoyable Easter break. Reflecting on Term 1, I want to reiterate how proud we are as a College of all of our students. Term 1 had so many unforeseen interruptions and all of our students took it in their stride and still managed to engage with learning. The majority of Term 1 mathematics results should now be live on Daymap for you to view as teachers have now had time to mark and moderate all assessments. We encourage you to review these results with your child and set some goals for their academic achievements as they head into Term 2.

Term 2 will be a busy one for our students in mathematics as they have two pieces of assessment to complete across the term. I have included a table below with a brief overview of these tasks and the expected due date. We have designed our assessments this way to give them more opportunities to demonstrate their level of understanding ahead of the semester report card and to reduce the amount of content they must demonstrate in each assessment.
