Assessment Schedules

Updated Assessment Schedules were given to all students last Friday 22nd October. This is a very handy document to keep on the fridge or near your student's study area to help them stay organised leading into their end of year assessment.

An electronic copy is available from the Daymap Parent Connect Portal for you and your student to access at any time. As it is a PDF file, you will need a PDF Viewer app or software on your device to be able to view or print the Assessment Schedule.

If your student did not receive their Assessment Schedule, please email me epren3@eq.edu.au and I will ensure they receive a new copy.

Pre-service Teachers

We are very fortunate to have a number of Pre-service Teachers from QUT and USQ joining us this term.

I would like to thank Ms Kasey Muller and Mr Arastu Mohajer for joining us for the past few weeks and we wish them well as they continue their studies to become teachers.

Next week, we will welcome another 4 Pre-service Teachers to our College. Ms Alannah West, Ms Natasha McDonald, Mr Ricky Ong and Ms Tiana Williams will be joining the College for the next four weeks. They will be under the expert guidance of Mr Barclay, Ms Martins, Ms Starkey, Mr Ezzy, Ms Reeves and Mr Harvey.

As our College rapidly grows, it's important to our staff that we invest in the education and training of our future teachers who will soon become our colleagues.

New Staff Retreat

In Week 7 and Week 9, we will be welcoming our new teachers to the College for 2022 for a two day staff retreat. This gives them the opportunity to get to know our students, their colleagues and our ways of working so that they can hit the ground running when they meet their new students in 2022.

I look forward to introducing our 13 new teachers and 1 new HoD - Science and HPE to you all via our social media pages and in our Week 8 newsletter.
