Speech Pathology Week - 22 to 28 August 2021
Communication is a basic human right. Speech language pathologists support students with communication difficulties to learn and interact throughout their school day.
Speech Pathology Week is the opportunity to raise awareness of those in our school community who have speech language communication difficulties. Speech language pathologists work to ensure that communication is everyone’s right. Our school team, including speech language pathologists, work alongside students and their parents or carers, providing reasonable adjustments, to help them access and participate in school curriculum. Speech language pathologists may support students with their speech sound production, understanding and use of language and/or using a different method of communication.
Thank you to Mrs Nicole Anderson for all her amazing work!!!
Week 8 is an opportunity to acknowledge the important role of Teacher Aides, whose hard work and dedication make a difference to students, teachers and the school community. Here some of your quotes!
"I appreciate everything they do for us thank you so much to all the Teaches Aides"
Everything, they are super amazing ?. They are very supportive and really nice. I have never met a bad Teacher Aide!! :)
I appreciate that our Teacher Aides are always willing to help even if they don't know what they're doing and they are always there if you need someone to talk to.
They are the best of all Teacher Aides. They are gods to us:)
That they are always willing to help when needed, and they support us.
