Next week we have a new Technician starting with us. Paul McAully comes to Ripley with a wealth of experience in secondary schools and as a regional Technician and we are excited to have him on board. Our tech support team can be contacted via email at tech@ripleyvalleyssc.eq.edu.au and can be found in the resource centre both before and after school and during breaks.

TERM 3 DEVICE CHECKS

This term all students laptops will be collected to complete an audit of devices. During this audit student devices will be checked for unreported damages and to ensure that students have all the correct equipment. That being:

Laptop with a RVSSC Sticker on the front (Protective Sticker $10)
Charger $35
Laptop case $80
Stylus Pen. $75

Any damages or missing items will be invoiced (as per costs above) and repaired as per device policy. Warranty claims will be completed and devices will also be checked for any illegal downloads including Music and Movies. All unauthorised downloads will be deleted, and devices reimaged back to factory settings. Students will be given back their device once this is complete.
