Term 2 has started off with a bang and already see's the planning for the upcoming Interhouse Athletics and Rewards Day preparations taking place. Both Miss Starkey and I are keen to see how the students apply themselves to meet the criteria of "Attendance and Behaviour" to attend the End of Term 2 Rewards Day on Wednesday 23rd June (Week 10). It is important that students maintain a 95% approved Attendance rate, in addition, no less than a "C" on their behaviour this term to be eligible to attend this Rewards Day. Any student who does not meet both criteria will unfortunately not be able to attend.

The current venue that has been decided by the Rewards Team at RVSSC has been locked in and it looks like Skyzone, MacGregor has been a favourite amongst the students. This will see our reward recipients engaging in fun-filled activities with their fellow students such as: trampoline jumping, ninja warrior courses and trampoline dodgeball to name a few. In regards to the price, the locked in price for students who have met the criteria to attend the Rewards Day is $20 (excluding transport fee - TBA). This will cover the students entry fee, in addition the socks required for them to wear whilst at Skyzone. It is recommended students pack their own lunch, or bring additional monies to purchase food from the canteen at Skyzone. There will be more information on Daymap, school notices and assemblies regarding the Rewards Day.

The Interhouse Cross Country Carnival was a success, and at the end of the day it was the Goolman Geckos who walked away with the trophy! See points below:

- Goolman = 1st - 608 points

- Perry = 2nd = 596 points

- Flinders = 3rd = 584 points

- Blaine = 4th = 528 points

Goolman House Captains Sophie & Jack accepted the Interhouse Cross Country Trophy on behalf of all Goolman students and were congratulated on assembly by the rest of their peers.
