Nicole Anderson is our fantastic Speech Pathologist at RVSSC. Together we have established intervention groups to support our students to be confident and successful speakers and readers.

Reading Club

Reading Club is a select group of students who will be working on improving their reading skills, supported by the school’s Speech Pathologist and a Teacher Aide.  The group focuses on building the foundation skills needed to develop fluent and accurate reading, as well as practicing using technology to help reduce any barriers that a reading difficulty may present. 

Chat Group

Chat group is a select group of students who will be working on developing social communication and conversation skills.  These skills are essential in successfully participating in our school and wider community, and in forming and maintaining positive relationships with others. This group meets during lunch time on Wednesday's. A light snack may also be provided for students during their participation.
