Our College Anzac Day Service will be held in Term 2 on Wednesday the 21st April.  The Service will be held in the Raptor Dome (Sports Hall) from 8.45 to 9.30 am (please arrive earlier to allow time to be seated).  Parking is available in the undercover carpark below the Raptor Dome (access available via Parkway Avenue).  A number of Special Guests will be in attendance including Councillors and Members of Parliament.  This year the Royal Australian Airforce celebrates 100 years of service in Australia. This is a particularly relevant milestone given the significant number of Defence Families that are part of our College Community.  We reflect and commemorate this important milestone and thank those that are serving and those that have served abroad for their service and sacrifice.  A commemorative address will be presented by Flight Lieutenant Luke Moran of the 33 Squadron, RAAF Base Amberley.  We welcome members of the Ripley Valley State Secondary College Community to attend this Service.  The Service will be followed by a morning tea. Year 7 Immunisations will occur at school on Tuesday the 20th April (Week 1, Term 2).  A Consent Pack including an information booklet was distributed to Year 7 Students in their Access Classes last Friday.  Only students with a signed and completed Consent Card, indicating 'Yes to Vaccination' will be vaccinated. 

If you would like your child to be vaccinated, please complete the Consent Card and return it to school before Friday the 19th March.  If you do not wish your child to be vaccinated or your child has already been vaccinated with the offered vaccines, please complete the 'No to Vaccination' section on the Consent Card and return the Consent Card to the school before Friday the 19th March.
