SEE Civil, in partnership with Stockland Development, wishes to advise the community that essential road construction works will be undertaken along Barrams Road commencing Wednesday, 1st October 2025. These works form part of the broader Town Centre development program and are scheduled to continue for a duration of approximately three (3) months, weather permitting.
Impact on Road Users
- During this period, Barrams Road will be closed to through traffic at the location indicated on the attached layout plan.
- A designated detour route will be provided via the newly constructed Town Centre Connector Road, which represents the ultimate long-term alignment for the area.
- Connections to adjoining side streets will remain closed throughout the construction program.
Traffic Management and Safety
- A reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will apply within and approaching the construction zone.
- Motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians are requested to observe all posted traffic signage, detour directions, and instructions from traffic controllers at all times.
- Every effort will be made to minimise disruption; however, some delays and changes to normal traffic conditions should be expected during the works.
Community Considerations
These works are essential to the delivery of upgraded infrastructure that will improve accessibility and connectivity within the precinct. SEE Civil and Stockland Development are committed to undertaking the project with a focus on safety, minimising inconvenience, and ensuring timely completion.
