This week we celebrate Support Staff Recognition Week, and I would like to take the opportunity to thank our science technicians Savita Saini and Dr Anitha Sudheesh Kumar. They work behind the scenes to assist our students to participate in engaging science learning experiences, such as the heart dissections Year 8's have undertaken in Week 6.

Assessment for the junior school is nearing completion. Year 9's sit an Earth Science Data Test in week 9 that will not be reported on in this upcoming Report Card - results will be aggregated in the Semester 2 Report at the end of the year.

Year 12's will take part in Mock External Exams in Week 10 - Science subjects will utilise a 2 hour exam, with students receiving 2 Papers. Science External Assessments are worth 50% of the overall mark, and cover content from Units 3 and 4. Students require a sustained study schedule to achieve to their potential.
