Esports and School Community Updates
- FUSE Cup – Rocket League
The FUSE Cup is back this round with Rocket League as the featured game! Our Esports Academy teams are already hard at work preparing their strategies, teamwork, and mechanics to compete in this fast-paced 3v3 competition. We’re excited to see our students demonstrate the RVSSC values of Respect, Responsibility, and Perseverance as they take on schools from across the region.
We wish our players the very best of luck — keep an eye on our social media and next newsletter for results and highlights!
- Yagera Esports – Coming Soon
We are thrilled to announce that Yagera Esports will be launching soon! This exciting new initiative will bring additional opportunities for students to get involved in competitive and social esports within our community.
Details about how students can participate, event dates, and registration information will be advertised shortly — stay tuned!
- Year 9 PPP Meetings
We also invite all Year 9 families to book a time for the upcoming PPP Meetings, where students, parents, and staff will come together to discuss pathways and future directions for each student.
These conversations are a great opportunity to:
- Reflect on progress so far this year.
- Explore pathway options for senior school and beyond.
- Set meaningful goals aligned to each student’s interests and strengths.
In Term 2, our Football Academy Students (and staff) did an outstanding job in relevant competitions, but also members competing at Winter Fest and FQ State Champs! A massive congratulations to Individuals and Teams who placed amongst various competitions they were involved in!
- Junior Girls = 7-0 win
