Mathematics
As Term 2 draws to a close, we take this opportunity to commend the dedication and perseverance shown by our staff and students throughout the term—particularly during the recent assessment period.
Our teaching staff have demonstrated exceptional professionalism in delivering curriculum content, preparing students for assessments, and offering additional support through lunchtime tutoring sessions. A special mention goes to the Mathematics department for their ongoing commitment to student success. Their lunchtime tutoring has been well-attended and has significantly supported students in deepening their understanding of key concepts.
Students have shown strong engagement in classroom activities and have been responsive to teacher feedback, using it to enhance their academic performance. As we approach Week 9, students in Years 7-9 are encouraged to continue revising and give their best effort in the upcoming exams.
Year 11 students have now completed their Unit 1 assessments and received valuable feedback to guide their learning. Meanwhile, our Year 12 students have successfully completed Unit 3 and are now progressing through Unit 4 content with focus and determination.
We thank everyone in our school community for their continued support and commitment to learning.
