PBL Focus – Perseverance:

As we approach the final weeks of Semester 1, I want to take a moment to remind all our students of the importance of finishing the Term positively. One of our core values as a school is Perseverance - the ability to stay focused, work hard, and continue striving for excellence, even when the finish line is in sight. The end of term can bring many distractions, but it is important that students maintain their effort and uphold the high expectations they have set for themselves throughout the term. Every lesson, every assessment, and every day still offers valuable opportunities for learning, growth, and achievement. As the author Napoleon Hill once said, "Effort only fully releases its reward after a person refuses to quit." I encourage all our students to hold on to that mindset in these final weeks.  We are also looking forward to sharing a range of important upcoming events with our community as the term progresses.

NAIDOC Week – Week 1, Term 3:

In Week 1 of Term 3, our school community will come together to celebrate NAIDOC Week - a time to honour and recognise the rich history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC Week provides an important opportunity for all of us to reflect on the strength and resilience of our First Nations communities, and to learn from the stories and traditions that have shaped this land for thousands of years. The theme of this year’s NAIDOC Week is Strength, Vision and Legacy. We look forward to celebrating and acknowledging our First Nations students, their families, and our Elders throughout the week’s activities.
