Welcome back to Term 2!

I hope all students enjoyed a restful break and are feeling ready for a busy and productive Term 2.

This term is especially significant for our senior students. Our Year 12 General English students will complete both their IA1 and IA3 assessments, while our Year 12 Essential English students will be preparing for and completing their Common Internal Assessment (CIA) in the coming weeks. We know they have been working hard, and we encourage them to continue seeking feedback, managing their time effectively, and maintaining a strong focus. Staff are here to support them every step of the way.

We are also excited to cheer on our Junior Reader’s Cup team as they prepare to compete later this term. The team has shown great dedication, reading widely and honing their comprehension and teamwork skills. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and wish them every success in the upcoming competition.

A reminder that key resources, including class novels and access to Writer’s Toolbox, require active participation in the Student Resource Scheme (SRS). To ensure students have access to these important learning tools, please ensure fees or payment plans are up to date. Families requiring assistance with payments or financial support are encouraged to contact our school administration team.
