Early August I presented to the Year 12s on how to preference university courses to ensure they receive an offer through QTAC.  

In late August, Year 12 students participated in "Next Steps" meetings which is a 30 minute discussion about post school pathways.  Mr Robson and I have been assisting the students with ordering their university courses through QTAC whereas Mr Gerchow, Ms George and Link and Launch representative Ms Parry, have been assisting students with work and vocational pathways.

Key QTAC dates are below:

• Thursday 1 August 2024 - Opening of Admissions applications for 2025
• Thursday 1 August 2024 - Opening of ATAR Portal registration for 2024 year 12 students
• Friday 13 December 2024 - Release of the 2024 ATAR results
• Monday 23 December 2024 - December Offer round 
• Thursday 16 January 2024 - January Offer round

No specified dates:

• EAS no closing date promoted but I called QTAC and they recommended 15th December to provide enough turnaround time for a January offer round and as early as possible for other offer rounds.
• Closing date for QTAC is before the offer round
• Please consult the university directly for dates on early offer rounds and procedures in applying because I have found the process differs between institutions.  Do not hesitate to call the university directly.
