Term 3 is in full swing and it is wonderful to see all the incredible learning occuring in classes across our college! Students will very shortly be preparing for their Term 3 assessments to demonstrate their learning. During Access this week, students were provided with their Semester Two Assessment Schedules. This document lists their due dates for assignments and exams for the remainder of the year. Students and parents can also see these dates on Daymap. A reminder that in the event of abscence during assessment, an extension request should be completed. Year 7 and 9 students who sat NAPLAN should also have recieved their Individual Student Reports during Access last week. This report will provide information for the dimensions of Numeracy, Reading, Writing and Conventions of Language. NAPLAN results are a moment in time only and should be considered together with school based assessments and reports as well as teacher feedback.
