Year 10 Industry Connections Program

Ripley Valley State Secondary College is thrilled to announce the launch of our 2025 Industry Connections Program, a dynamic two-week experience designed to offer our students a wide range of opportunities to explore and engage with various industries. For the first time, this program will include a combination of real-world and virtual work experience, excursions to key industries, incursions featuring presentations and hands-on experiences from external organisations, senior subject trials, and a variety of other learning opportunities. These experiences aim to provide valuable insights and skills that will help our students prepare for their future careers.

Some of these activities require parental permission and/or payment, as they are facilitated by external organisations. We kindly ask that you review the list of opportunities below and indicate your consent for your child to participate by ticking the relevant boxes.

Please note that most activities have limited availability, and spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure your child can participate in their preferred activities, please review the list of opportunities below and submit your permission by Friday 23rd May.

Students will receive a copy of their final timetable for this two week program on Monday, June 9th. This timetable will include all of the experiences they have been successfully placed into, based on the receipt of both parent permission and payment, and with all other activities, presentations, and lessons being run at the College.

We are excited about the potential of this program to enrich our students' learning and provide them with meaningful industry exposure.
